Burgundy Dumpling Mug stands 4.5″high and is 3″diameter at it’s widest point. I make all my mugs on the potter’s wheel from stoneware clay. I pulled the handle directly from the pot and added a thumb rest for comfort. The burgundy glaze is semi-gloss with a smooth touch. I overlap blue and gold glazes just at the top that sweetens the pot, don’t you agree? A lovely dumpling, round at the bottom and tapering in at the top. Use it for hot or cold.
I fired Burgundy Dumpling Mug to 2200 degrees F so use it in the dishwasher or microwave without worry. Swirl your beverage in the plump portion. The tapered top keeps both temperature and flow steady.
Well-balanced handled and comfortable lip.
