Description
I made Creme de la Creme Sugar on the potter’s wheel from stoneware clay. It has a seated domed lid and decorative handles. I trimmed the bottom flat.
The bowl of Creme de la Creme Sugar is 3.25″Diameter x 3.5″H (5.5″H to top of lid).
The bare portion of the bowl has a permanent iron oxide stain fired into the clay to give it a deep reddish brown color. The main portions of the sugar crock were dipped into a cream rust glaze that I make.
Store your favorite loose or packets of sweeteners. Use as a salt cellar. Maybe you collect your coins and they need a holder. Or your office supplies need gathering. It’s beautifully decorative and will display well on table or countertop. Fired to 2200 degrees F.
