Iris Oil Pourer is made on the potter’s wheel using a tan stoneware clay. Standing 7″ high on a flat bottom.
We named the glaze “Iris” because the overlapping purple and cream glazes create a floral or lace effect.
Dedicate an oil you frequently use to this Iris Pourer because pouring and refilling the oil regularly keeps the fresh. Clean with a bottle brush only as needed, then allow the pourer to drip dry completely.
If you find that there is no glaze inside the neck of your pourer, fear not; the body is glazed inside. Leaving the neck bares is sometimes necessary in order to get the right fit with the spout; and, the bare clay is safe and will not break down.
For your convenience, we include a pouring insert.
