Taos Medium Serving Bowl was made on the potter’s wheel from stoneware clay. It has a trimmed foot. 10″ Diameter x 4″ High.
The ‘Taos’ glaze consists of overlapping blue, green, cream, and gold glazes which I pour and dip in particular sequence. Usually the effect is a landscape or dreamscape reminiscent of the natural environment of Northern New Mexico – mountains, sky, clouds, pines. The new batch of blue glaze is firing deep blue, like cobalt.
However you see it, Taos Medium Serving Bowl is beautiful to display when not in use. Serve salad, pasta, or veggies.
I fire to 2200 degrees F so this little gem is oven and dishwasher safe.
