I made Taos Mixing Bowl on the potter’s wheel. It has a trimmed foot and a spout for pouring. The bowl is easy to grasp in the hand. It’s a natural rim to foot hold so I chose not to add a handle.
Taos Mixing Bowl has a dynamically beautiful surface. A 4-part glaze application that involves dipping, pouring, and drip-trailing results in a unique melding each time. Yet, the overall look is consistent.
I fire all my dinnerware to 2200 degrees F so it’s safe for the dishwasher, microwave, and oven.
This would make a great pancake mixing bowl. Use it to make sauces, batters, and so much more!
