I made Taos Nut Bowl on the potter’s wheel. It has a tapered shape and a flat bottom. I call it a nut bowl because that is one of many food items Taos Nut Bowl will hold. Use it for ice cream, pretzels, salsas, or other condiments. Use it in the bathroom to keep cotton balls handy. Makes a great “catch all” for your dresser. Once you have this bowls, you’ll want more. There are so many uses.
And pretty too, with overlapping blue, green, cream, & gold glazes. My technique of dipping, pouring, and drip-trailing the 4 layers of glazes results in a consistent result. Yet each application is slightly unique.
I fire all my pottery to at least 2200 degrees F. This is a strong and durable pottery. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.
