I made Taos Wine Chiller on the potter’s wheel using stoneware clay. I trimmed the bottom is flat. The rim is exposed, permanently stained with red iron oxide for a rich contrast with the glaze.
I dip and pour 4 different glazes to create the Taos Glaze, overlapping blue, green, cream, and gold. The dynamic result is reminds me of the natural environment of Northern New Mexico.
Put Taos Wine Chiller in the freezer. It holds a bottle of wine with a small bit of room for additional ice if needed. The cold stoneware will keep the wine chilled longer.
Organize your favorite kitchen tools, keeping them handy and on the counter. Makes a beautiful addition to any countertop. It’s also a vase! Create a stunning floral centerpiece.
