Description
Amarillo is Roger Harrington’s most recent work from the studio and isn’t like anything he has done recently. Amarillo is an intriguing patterning of yellows and creams and oranges. And oh wait, there is some blue gray and purple in there as well. Some of the paint is as thin and transparent as tissue paper, with the underlying shape coming through. Windows if you will. Many perspectives, perhaps, depending on placement in the overall scheme of things. A collective. A unified plane inhabited by multitudes across layers and levels…or the suggestion of an atmosphere in which we can all co-exist? Perhaps.
Painted in acrylics. Gallery wrapped. 28″ x 30″.
