Description
I made Floating Blue Manhandle on the potter’s wheel using a tan stoneware clay. This is a generous cylinder with a roomy handle and a comfy thumb stop. Flat bottom.
After the cup is trimmed and dry, it goes through the first firing, called bisque. Then, the cup is dipped in a floating blue glaze that I make. Clean and simple. The second firing at 2200 degrees.
Bright blue jean blue. Well-balanced and light weight.
Fill Floating Blue Manhandle with your favorite hot or cold beverage! Stoneware ceramic helps to hold the temperature.
Makes a great gift for holidays, housewarming, birthday, or just to say “thank you”.
5.5″H and 16 oz capacity
