Description
Verde KSO (kitchen sink organizer). A tall center cup to hold long handled brushes, bottle brushes, and the like. Two shorter cups to hold soap dispenser or dish washing liquid decanter or something else? I made the cups on the potter’s wheel and then connected them.
The clay is tan or light brown in color. The surface is combination of copper green and cream rust glazes. First I dip the lower portion of the consolidated piece in a copper green glaze that I make. Then I flip it and dip the upper portion in a cream rust glaze that I make. The overlap creates a textural component I find intriguing. The result is a clean, tailored finish, which is smooth and soothing.
Imagine a glass decanter of dish washing liquid, long wooden handled brushes, and sponge…or a hand soap pump. Alternately, oil and vinegar decanters on either sides of kitchen tools.
Verde KSO makes a great wedding, housewarming, birthday, holiday, or thank you gift! Keep it for yourself! Use behind or beside or over the sink. Keep on the counter by the stove for those favored kitchen tools and perhaps an oil and vinegar decanter on either side. Let the form spark your imagination!
Center cup is 5.5″ High x 2.75″ interior diameter. Side cups are 2″ high with interior diameters of 3 and 3.25.
