Description
I made Verde Sugar on the potters wheel, with a seated lid and a flat bottom. Low profile, wider shape makes it versatile for use as salt cellar. 4″ diameter x 2″ high.
The ‘Verde’ glaze consists of overlapping green & cream rust glazes. The result is a clean, tailored surface. Some rust comes through and adds character.
Store your favorite sweetener for a pinch or teaspoon ready when you need it. Use it to store your sweetener packets. Or use as a salt cellar. Keep it on the kitchen table or on the kitchen countertop. Maybe the coin from your pockets needs a catching jar. Or your rubber bands need a gathering pot. Looks neat in the office or bureau or powder room.
You can even bake a little brie or dip in this gem. Use it to serve salsa and then cover and pop the left overs in the refrigerator!
Verde Sugar makes a great gift when you are the guest at dinner or a holiday soiree; or to say “happy birthday”, “welcome to the neighborhood”, or “thank you”!
It’s a little treasure for the right stuff.
Fired to 2200 degrees F. Oven, microwave, dishwasher safe.
